WE SPONSOR RZ SWIMMING CLUB

What a warm welcome yesterday, the meeting with the swimmers of RZ. It was an amazing evening. Thanks for that! – Evert Serpenti.

On Friday evening, I was once again a guest at swimming club RZ-Roermond. The idea: if swimmers understood more about the background of their sport, it might increase their motivation. They were hosted by Evert Serpenti, owner of Serpenti Logistics, sponsor, and swimmer at RZ. In his huge hall, the new sponsor shirt was presented, and the swimmers were tasked with presenting all elements of the company’s transportation. We saw cars, trains, airplanes, boats, and trucks passing by. Lots of fun. The tables were overloaded with treats. Energy, actually, exactly the theme I had based the presentation around. A bit interactive, of course, so there was room for laughter around this somewhat complex topic. A satisfying feeling.

An educational evening for our competitive swimmers, part 2 of 3, at one of our sponsors (and also Master swimmer) Evert Serpenti of Serpenti Logistics in Reuver. The evening was very inspiring, thanks to top trainer and well-known figure in the swimming world, Ton van der Eerden.

On Friday, March 6, we had the pleasure of welcoming Ton van der Eerden once again. We were fortunate to host Ton at a beautiful location, namely at our club sponsor and Master swimmer Evert Serpenti’s Serpenti Logistics BV in Reuver. The name “Logistics” already gives it away; Evert is the owner of a company that is making great strides in the logistics sector. Whether it’s air transport, freight trucks, fast cars, cargo ships, or freight trains… Evert ensures your goods get from point A to point B!

In his spacious hall with comfortable seating, our competitive swimmers had a lot to take in. Ton didn’t make it easy for them on their free Friday evening. They had to pay close attention, but luckily Ton knows exactly how to explain difficult concepts like ATP and ADP, aerobic, anaerobic, and a-lactic in a way that is easy to understand. It was amazing to see how even the youngest swimmers were captivated by the biology of the body.

And our swimmers now know exactly what to do to prevent cramps!
